This report summarizes the proceedings of a June 2019 symposium hosted by the BC Ombudsperson that explored the evolving role of an Ombuds in a rapidly changing world. Issues raised include the fairness of decision-making in the digital age, how to build and sustain awareness of the Ombuds role and how to measure impact of our work.
