We can investigate complaints about the Law Society of British Columbia. Before you make a complaint to us, we want to make sure you’ve tried to resolve your complaint directly with the people involved. Here’s the complaint information for you and some tips on how to make your complaint.

How to Complain about the Law Society

If you are not satisfied with a decision by the Law Society to take no further action after investigating a complaint about a lawyer, you may be able to request a review by the Complainants’ Review Committee.

For other decisions by the Law Society, or if you wish to complain about the outcome of a decision by the Complainants’ Review Committee, contact us directly.
