BC Municipalities

We have jurisdiction over BC municipalities, Regional Districts, Improvement and Water Districts, Public Libraries, Regional Park Boards, and the Islands Trust. Before you make a complaint to us, we want to make sure you’ve tried to resolve your complaint directly with the people involved. Here’s the complaint information for you and some tips on how to make your complaint.

*Please note, we do not normally investigate complaints about the conduct of mayors and council but rather complaints from the public when they believe they have been treated unfairly during administrative transactions with government bodies.
