B.C. Corrections

We can investigate complaints about B.C. Corrections and the programs and services it provides. We recommend trying to resolve your complaint directly by first submitting a complaint form to the correctional facility. If this does not resolve your concerns, you may contact the Investigations and Standards Office (ISO) before you contact us as often the issue can be resolved more efficiently and effectively. Here’s some information for you as well as some tips on how to make your complaint.

How to Make a Complaint about B.C. Corrections

The Investigations and Standards Office, an independent body of the Ministry of Attorney General, is responsible for investigating complaints made by people in custody at B.C. correctional centres, as well as those on probation who are being supervised in the community.
